8/17/11- WHLC has been working through the details of the Schematic Design package. Most of their focus is refining the entry elevation treatments to work out the proper scale, materials, and detailing. They thought it would be helpful to have another review prior to issuing to the Lemoine Company for pricing.  Rex Cabannis and Micah Morgan from WHLC Architects presented further graphics for the Building Committee's review.  Click below to see the drawing that we have so far.  They will also be availabe for viewing in the church lobby on the weekends.

7/19/11 - The staff, Building & Finance Committees has been working on the Floor Plans for the repairs and renovations of the Administration and Adult Education buildings with significant input from your ministry representatives.  They met with architects, Rex Cabaniss and Micah Morgan of WHLC, on July 6th and approved the floor plans for the two buildings and site plan for this areaThe committees will meet again on July 27th at the office of WHLC to review options for the exterior design, such as roof structure and  wall cladding

The committee and staff are very pleased with the plans and the overall understanding that WHLC has for our needs. You will be kept up to date on the progress of this phase, and our hope is to have buildings we are both proud of and are functional for our staff and ministries. We want to thank all of you who have given input thus far.

12/2/10
- The Master Plan has been submitted by WHLC Architecture and has been approved.  Plans are being made to have available for viewing starting in January 2011.

11/16/10
- The Master Planning process for the future of our Church Campus is proceeding very well.  The Master Plan Committee has been working closely with WHLC Architecture over the past
few months to discuss growth options for the campus as well as renovations to existing facilities.

Having reviewed various planning strategies, we have settled on a Master Plan that will expand and renovate both the Administration and Adult Education buildings, as well as locate a New Education Center. In addition, the Plan locates a new Rectory, and provides space for a future new building. The architects are finalizing the plans for submittal in December.

10/14/10
- The Building Committee, along with others, has been reviewing the Master Plan for our church parish. The Committee will meet with Rex Cabaniss of the architect firm WHLC (Washer, Hill, Lipscomb, Cabaniss) on November 2nd. The whole process is going to be difficult and slow in our attempt to get the present buildings to a more workable state, in addition to fulfilling all that the original Master Plan had promised.
