2010 Men of the Cross - Men’s Conference

Fifty-two men from our community spent the weekend of August 13th and 14th participating in a renewal conference at the parish center. Thanks go out to the team, the kitchen crew, and the MOTC band for a successful weekend. Special thanks to Deacon Jodi Moscona, Deacon J.R. Salinas, and Deacon Steven Gonzales for their spiritual participation and guidance. We are deeply grateful to God and to all of them for their generosity, their spirituality, and their zeal. Next year, MOTC offers this opportunity to other men in our community to respond to a closer and deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. Once again, thanks to everyone in the parish who participated in making this conference successful.

Actual testimonials from those who attended:

  • The most meaningful part of the conference for me was when the deacons answered the questions from the drop box. It allowed everyone to engage into and discuss some of the issues that we all deal with on a daily basis. That was great

  • I want to express my gratitude to you & your group for putting together what I think in my mind to be a Beautifully Wonderful Success this past weekend at The MENS Conference. I know that this is how GOD works in my life these days…

  • This year, what I found most home-hitting, was some of the things that the Deacons shared. A suggestion from me (if I had to make one, because this year was VERY well planned and was one of the best conferences/retreats since I’ve been coming) is to hear more from the Deacons. I know that would be asking a lot from them, but they know so much and can put things into perspective in a way we need to see things

  • The praise and worship session was awesome, great song selection
